How Griffin Funding Works

From a five-minute request to money in your checking account, here is the full journey, step by step, with no surprises along the way.

How Griffin Funding Works — Griffin Funding

Griffin Funding connects you with an independent lender in four steps: you complete one secure online request, review the match and offer that comes back, verify your details and e-sign with the lender, and receive your deposit by direct transfer.

Step 1: Complete the secure online request

The request form asks for the basics a lender needs to consider you: contact details, the amount you want between $500 and $5,000, income information, and your checking account for deposit. It typically takes about five minutes, and submitting it costs nothing and commits you to nothing.

Step 2: Review your match and offer

Your request is shared with lending partners, and an interested lender presents its offer: the amount, the estimated APR, the term, and the monthly payment. Read it slowly. The numbers on that screen, not anything on this website, are the terms that would govern your loan.

Step 3: Verify details and e-sign

Before funding, the lender confirms who you are and what you earn. That can mean uploading a pay stub, linking a bank account through a secure read-only connection, or answering identity questions. Once verification clears, you sign the loan agreement electronically.

Step 4: Receive your deposit

Funds move by ACH transfer to the checking account you provided, in many cases as soon as the next business day after signing, though timing is an estimate and depends on the lender's cutoff times and your bank. Repayment then follows the schedule in your agreement, usually by automatic withdrawal.
